Medication options such as naltrexone may be discussed when clinically indicated as part of a broader treatment plan. Care is collaborative and may include coordination with therapists, intensive outpatient programs, or residential treatment and sober living resources when higher levels of care are needed.
Important note: This practice does not provide detoxification services or medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. Referrals to residential treatment, sober living, or specialty substance use programs are available when appropriate.

Kimberly Abuajah, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Peaceful Pond Psychiatry. She provides outpatient psychiatric medication management for children and adults across Georgia via telehealth.
Kimberly brings over five years of experience working in mental health care, including time as a registered nurse and as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Her background includes emergency medicine, inpatient behavioral health, crisis stabilization, substance use treatment, and outpatient psychiatry, allowing her to approach care with both clinical confidence and calm steadiness.
Her approach to care is collaborative and patient-centered, emphasizing clear communication, shared decision-making, and consistent follow-up. Appointments are designed to feel supportive and unrushed, with a focus on safe, effective medication management and continuity of care.
