Services
Peaceful Pond Psychiatry provides outpatient psychiatric medication management for children, adolescents, and adults across Georgia through secure telehealth appointments.
Care focuses on thoughtful evaluation, collaborative treatment planning, and ongoing follow-up support. The goal is to create treatment plans that are clear, effective, and supportive of long-term stability.
The first appointment is a 60-minute psychiatric evaluation designed to understand your symptoms, treatment history, and goals for care.
During this visit we will review your current concerns, mental health history, past treatments, sleep patterns, stress levels, and factors affecting daily functioning.
This evaluation allows us to develop a clearer understanding of your symptoms and determine whether medication management may be helpful.
If medication is recommended, options will be discussed carefully so you understand the purpose of treatment, potential benefits, and possible side effects before beginning medication.
Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation
Follow-up appointments focus on monitoring medication response and ensuring treatment continues to support symptom stability and daily functioning.
During these visits we review symptom progress, medication effectiveness, potential side effects, and any adjustments that may improve treatment outcomes.
Treatment decisions are made collaboratively, with careful discussion before changes are made.
Care may also include lifestyle considerations and, when appropriate, lab monitoring to support safe and effective treatment.
Medication Access & Patient Advocacy
Insurance companies sometimes require prior authorization before covering certain medications. When this happens, we take the time to submit the necessary documentation and advocate for appropriate treatment so patients can access medications that best support their care.
We believe treatment decisions should be guided by clinical need—not unnecessary barriers—so our practice works diligently to help patients navigate insurance requirements whenever possible.
When appropriate, care may include coordination with therapists, primary care providers, or other healthcare professionals involved in your treatment.
Collaborative care can help ensure treatment remains consistent and supportive of your overall wellbeing.

Please plan to have the following information available:
