About Peaceful Pond Pyschiatry.
Peaceful Pond Psychiatry provides outpatient psychiatric medication management for children, adolescents, and adults across Georgia through secure telehealth appointments.
Many individuals seek psychiatric care when symptoms begin affecting daily life, relationships, sleep, work, or overall wellbeing. Psychiatric evaluation helps clarify what may be contributing to these challenges and determine whether medication management may be helpful.
Care at Peaceful Pond Psychiatry focuses on thoughtful evaluation, collaborative treatment planning, and consistent follow-up support. The goal is to create treatment plans that are clear, effective, and supportive of long-term stability.
Meet Kimberly.
I’m Kimberly Abuajah, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, founder of Peaceful Pond Psychiatry and a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
My background in nursing includes experience in emergency and behavioral health settings, where I worked closely with individuals navigating acute mental health challenges. These experiences shaped my understanding of how important it is for patients to feel heard, respected, and supported when seeking care.
Through Peaceful Pond Psychiatry, my goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized mental health care in a calm and welcoming environment. I take a collaborative approach with patients, focusing on understanding their experiences, discussing treatment options clearly, and creating plans that support long-term stability and wellbeing.
As a provider, I value creating a space where patients feel comfortable asking questions, learning about their mental health, and working together toward meaningful progress.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, embracing the meaningful moments of motherhood, and prioritizing balance and wellbeing in everyday life.
The meaning behind the logo.
The Peaceful Pond name and logo reflect the practice’s values of calm, reflection, and steady growth—supporting clarity, balance, and resilience over time and finding stillness even when the water is moving.
Mental health improvement often happens gradually through thoughtful changes over time, and the practice aims to provide a supportive environment where individuals can move toward greater balance and wellbeing.
